20 months

Since my school year ended (for the most part) on May 22nd, and I am saving almost all of my summer for family time, I am back to taking and posting pictures of the kids!

Right after exams, we went down to the Cape, to Liz's parents house for the weekend... or as the boys like to say "MeMe and Papa's house!"

As you can see, they love pretending to drive! Owen said he was driving home.

Back at home, after several rainy days, we needed to get out of the house. Since it wasn't raining too hard, and wasn't unbearably cold, we headed up to a farmer's market all the way up in Freeport one Friday afternoon. One kind farmer offered the boys a chance to sit on his tractor!

Shifting! They certainly pay attention.

Owen pauses to reflect on how much he loves the tractor.

Farmer Joe also turned on the tractor, and let the boys move the shovel up and down!

Then we made a stop at L.L. Bean while we were in town. They add on more to the complex every time we go. One cool new feature is the glass-walled fish tank near the main entrance.

The last weekend in May, we went to the Boston Aquarium with my brother, and a couple of friends. We met Brian at his apartment, and took the T to the aquarium. Before going in, we sat on the grass by the harbor and had a HUGE picnic lunch that Liz prepared.

I had to have one of the spread, because it was so much food!

The boys had a lot of fun. Jonah's favorite phrase of the day was "other window" which was his way of telling me he was bored of looking at whatever tank we were at. He wanted to see the sharks, especially the one with an "owie" on it's side.

Sadly, there weren't many good pictures, especially of the boys, because it was very dark, and they needed a lot of daddy attention while we were there.

Owen and Mama.

Jonah and uncle Brian.

Here are a few random shots from home.

Pajamas + sunglasses = Mad Scientist Owen!

Jonah pulled one of my ties off the rack and was trying to put it on, so I showed him how it worked.

And of course Owen had to join too!

A video from home.

The first weekend in June, it was off to Keene to visit Grammy, Grampa, and friends (and my 10 year high school reunion...).

Here are the boys in Grammy's driveway, playing with brooms.

At naptime one day, they fell asleep on my lap in the rocking chair, but as I went to move them to the bed, Jonah woke up, cried, and refused to go back to sleep. So I passed him off to Grammy so I could take care of Owen... She calmed Jonah down AND put him back to sleep by taking him for a wagon ride!

Next, just a couple of cute shots of Owen napping in the car on the way back from visiting Grampa's cabin in the woods.

And finally, fun with lawn chairs.

Drinking water.

Todlers with attitudes.

Jonah "smiling" for the camera.

And daddy joining them!

Lastly, one more video!
